The Hot Stocks Outlook uses VantagePoint’s market forecasts that are up to 86% accurate to demonstrate how traders can improve their timing and direction. In this week’s video, we analyze forecasts for American Tower ($AMT), BB&T ($BBT), Adobe ($ADBE), CarMax ($KMX) and Diana Shipping ($DSX).
This Week’s Hot Stocks Outlook
American Tower ($AMT) had a bullish crossover in early February with prices around $105. The market enjoyed a steady climb that didn’t see the VantagePoint neural index dip to “zero” until early March. The dip was quickly shrugged off because three days later, the climb continued. In the 38 days since the crossover, the market has gained 14.66% or $15.43 in value.
BB&T ($BBT) saw a bearish crossover in early March. It saw a steady decline before a $2.50 single-day loss on March 21st drove the price down to $44. The market tried to recover some of those losses in the following week, but VantagePoint still indicates a negative trend. The market has seen a $4.23 loss since the crossover was signaled 20 trading days ago.
Adobe ($ADBE) continues to build off the trend we covered in one of last month’s Hot Stocks Outlook videos. The crossover from early January is still in play 62 trading days later. Even with a four-day bearish period in mid-March, this bull trend is still holding strong with 23% gains. Prices have climbed from $104 up to around $130.
CarMax ($KMX) has been in a bearish trend since late February. When VantagePoint indicated the crossover, prices were trading around $67.50. Over the last 30 trading days, the market has lost nearly 16% of its value. It now finds itself closing in on $56, about an $11 loss per share.
Diana Shipping ($DSX) has seen its value climb 22% in March. The initial crossover occurred in early March. Prices were trading around $3.85. With only two instances of short-term weakness, $DSX has quickly added $0.90. There’s also some separation on the VantagePoint charts which indicates that the trend is likely to continue into the first part of next week.
