Contentworks Celebrates 1st Birthday
Time flies when you’re having fun and that’s certainly been the case for Contentworks – an innovative content marketing agency which delivers smart solutions for the finance, tech and lifestyle sectors. In fact, the team has just celebrated the company’s 1st birthday on May 15th 2018.
This significant milestone ties in nicely with the eagerly-awaited iFX EXPO which takes place in Limassol from the 22-24 May 2018. Contentworks’ Creative Director Charlotte Day and Director of Business Niki Nikolaou will be at the event handing out branded ‘birthday’ cookies to sugar-loving attendees. Charlotte Day will also be joining the speaker’s panel on day 2 alongside other well-respected figures from the finance world.
Video Scripts, Blogs, Podcasts and a Whole Lot of Coffee
It has certainly been a productive and proactive year for Contentworks. As well as establishing an authoritative social media presence, the team has also been forming many business collaborations and taking on a variety of high profile projects.
Highlights from the past 12 months (aside from copious amounts of coffee drinking) include:
- Being involved with leading blockchain videos
Video content is not only watchable but highly shareable too. It helps convey trickier messages and humanises a company which may otherwise be hard to connect with. Essentially, it’s an excellent marketing tool which is why Contentworks has been keen to get involved with leading blockchain videos over the past year – and with great success. Contentworks not only fully understands the ins and outs of video production but they can also write a gripping video script which is key to communicating important business messages.
- Hiring new staff
Due to the need for new writers, Contentworks has managed to on-board talented writers that are fully clued up with all the latest financial regulations and news. They’ve also hired a Content Manager to ensure all written material is organised and forwarded to clients correctly. As new projects come in, the team hope to grow further still but are keen to maintain the small, friendly and approachable nature of the company.
- Speaking at events
The Contentworks team have attended and been asked to speak at many important events and have been quoted in well-known publications such as InBusiness Magazine, Finance Magnates, GameChangers and Agorapulse. Both Charlotte and Niki also recently made a guest appearance on the Two Blokes Trading podcast where they discussed everything from MiFID II to the new ESMA regulations. They also touched on a host of other topics which are currently giving brokers a hard time including the recent crypto advertising bans from leading platforms.
- Sponsorships and CSR
Contentworks sponsored the IMH digital forum which aimed to assist those in the digital marketing sphere. They also embraced corporate social responsibility (CSR) by supporting Room to Read – a leading non-profit organisation which focusses on improving the literacy of children (particularly girls) across the globe.
As Contentworks is led by three literacy enthusiasts, the team deemed it appropriate to sponsor a female literacy program for a year. They linked their CSR campaign with International Women’s Day 2018 in a bid to promote women’s rights and highlight the importance of education.
