Leonard Fibonacci, widely considered one of the greatest European Mathematicians of the middle ages, discovered a series of interconnected numbers that are often observed in nature known as the Fibonacci Sequence.
By definition the Fibonacci Sequence is the sum of any two adjacent numbers will form the next higher number.
0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144 ……
For example – 0+1=1, 1+1=2, 1+2=3 and so on.
Whether it’s Egypt’s Great Pyramids, the structure of our DNA or patterns in our solar system, the Fibonacci sequence can be found all throughout our universe. While the number sequence itself does not offer much in terms of technical analysis of the financial markets, the ratio exhibited between each adjacent numbers is the amazement.
